Kitsy has over 20 years’ experience in retail real estate working on both the Landlord and Tenant sides of the business. She was most recently serving as Director of Real Estate for Gap Inc. Prior to Gap Inc, Kitsy was a Senior Leasing Representative at Mid-America, focusing on 3rd party Landlord leasing work.

Background
Kitsy has worked with retail tenants in various categories including: apparel, banks, grocery, anchors, junior anchors, QSRs, full-service restaurants, service uses and office. On the Landlord side, Kitsy has represented high-profile client and projects from suburban grocery anchored centers to lifestyle centers, power centers and urban streets.
Prior to joining ARES Group, Kitsy was Senior Leasing Representative at Mid-America Asset Management, the Midwest’s premiere brokerage firm. She managed over 4 million square feet of GLA on behalf of clients. She completed deals with national, regional and local tenants including: Starbucks, Potbelly, Chipotle, H&M, DSW, Ross, Target, Walmart, Jewel and many more.
Kitsy transitioned to the retailer side in 2011, serving as Director of Real Estate for Gap Inc. in the Midwest. In this role she managed over 350 stores generating over $1B in sales. Kitsy was instrumental in the rollout of Gap’s Athleta brand which grew from 1 brick and mortar store to over 100 in just five years.
